The textile works of Susanna Cati,are among the works selected for the international exhibition :
“Micro. the Reference Point” scheduled at the Library Exhibition Hall
San Pietroburgo(Russia)
from January 15th to February 5th 2020.
The concept of micro textile is attractive as it serves as a “matrix” in the creation process of the piece of art. “A small often holds a large resembling serious and significant things. A beginning is throughout and around us: in a first drop of rain, in a sunbeam, in a grain germ or in an origin of new life. The reference point is perceived as a conventional sign or a signal in the creation space. The infinity of action cannot be limited to a certain frames, but the sublimation moment of the intended is always perceptible”.
Идея создания микро текстиля интересна тем, что он выступает подобием “матрицы” в процессе работы над художественным произведением. “Малое часто вмещает большое, напоминая о серьезных и значимых вещах. Начало во всем и вокруг нас: в первой капле дождя, луче солнца, ростке зерна или импульсе новой жизни.
Точка отсчета воспринимается условным знаком или сигналов в пространстве созидания. Бесконечность действия не может быть ограничена определенными рамками, но момент сублимации задуманного всегда ощутим”.
